The originally wooden mosque built by Hafız Ahmed Agha in 1795 adjacent to Karacaahmet cemetery in Üsküdar was rebuilt in stone by his son Ahmed Fethi Pasha in 1855. The fountain built by Fethi Pasha across the road in the same period was removed due to a road enlargement in the 1970s and does not exist anymore. The mosque is called Ahmed Fethi Pasha Mosque today.
